You said that the stock scope wasnt that good because the POI was all over the place, I seem to be having the same problem as you. I was told my a few people that taking off the scope and loctite everything (including the stock because if the stock is not tight then the actual gun(metal part) might be slightly shifting when it is being shot. Did you try to loctite everything before you decided that the scope was no good? I don't have that much money at the moment and I'm torn between a few things. 1) bipod shooting sicks 2) GRT trigger and 3) better scope. I thing that the best thing I can do is get a GRT trigger as this will increase my accuracy the most and I guess i could make a bipod myslef, but I have no idea if I need to change the scope that it comes with.Alexanderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11858744682351760171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6641334548209650568.post-498411167429072302010-12-16T00:52:16.152-08:002010-12-16T00:52:16.152-08:00I'm not sure if it was the scope or the mounts...I'm not sure if it was the scope or the mounts. I replaced them at the same time and I haven't had a problem since. I had checked the stock screws front and rear to make sure they were all tight and they were. I recently installed some Mac1 Airguns brass screw cups on my Quest and it adds a nice touch of brass to the gun plus helps distribute the load on the wood exerted by the screw head. It's supposed to keep the screws from vibrating loose when shooting. They work well so far! I'll post some pics of the screw cups soon.

The trigger upgrade would be priority to me. The stock trigger is terrible.

You will get it sorted if I did.

ChrisChrishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11628568172477501307noreply@blogger.com
